Meaning
The meaning of the Golden Jubilee
A Golden Jubilee is a year of thanksgiving: fifty years of worship, of names spoken in the sanctum, and of a railway community that kept a South Indian shrine alive in North Bengal.
The commemorative year follows the recorded establishment of 30 October 1977. It is not an occasion for invented programmes or expenditure targets. It is a time to honour what is already known, and to gather what families still hold in memory.

Tribute to the founding railway community
The jubilee honours the railway employees and families who built and sustained the temple. The foundation plaque of 30 October 1977 names the founding and co-founding members. Their work made a sacred home beside the lines that brought them to Alipurduar.
